Personal Biography
Chryso Sotiriou has research and consulting experience in the fields of energy and environment, and more specific in the topics of climate change mitigation, greenhouse gas emissions and environmental economics. She worked as a Research Associate at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and has participated in several technical support projects related, amongst others, with the National Energy and Climate Plan of Cyprus. She is currently a Special Scientist at CUT on the topic of Environmental Economics and Operations Research and an Energy Policy and Climate Change Expert at ideopsis ltd. She is also a founding member of NGO kyklOIKOdromio.
Her qualifications included a BSc in Physics, an MSc in Energy Resources Management and a PhD in Environmental Economics and Policy.
