On November 29, 2023, the Management Board of the GreenH2CY Project, consisting of project beneficiaries and associated partners, convened at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia. This year’s Energy Symposium entitled “A Time for Implementing Energy Projects” was organized by the Energy Institute of SE Europe (IENE) jointly with FMW Financial Media Way.
Green Hydrogen in Cyprus

GreenH2CY at “Cyprus Talks Green”
On the 29th of June 2023, at the 5th event of the “Cyprus Talks Green” series, “Charging Ahead: The role of Transportation and Storage in a Clean Energy Future” the GreenH2CY was introduced by Mr. Makis Ketonis of Ketonis Holdings Ltd and coordinator of the project.
The GreenH2CY project officially starts
1st of June 2023 was the official start date for the GreenH2CY Project, which according to Project Coordinator Ketonis Holdings Ltd, is the first project in Cyprus which was approved for funding from the European Commission’s Innovation Fund.
